Growing Together at Ambleside 2
On a rainy August morning, Canadensis had the opportunity to visit the gardens at Ambleside 2 and see firsthand what this community has created together.
Canadensis Chair Gerry Lajeunesse visited with Norma Lamont, a former Canadensis Board member and current CBGS member, and Jim Young, who shared his knowledge of the gardens and introduced us to the work of the Ambleside Men’s Shed.
Canadensis has been happy to lend some support to the Ambleside community’s gardening efforts, making it especially rewarding to see the gardens in person.

Shakespeare Meets ABBA at Canadensis Garden

What happens when a marble run becomes a musical instrument?
Find out on Saturday, August 1, when Canadensis Garden presents Musical Marble Run, a free, hands-on experience for all ages.
A giant wooden marble run will be set up inside the geodesic dome. As marbles travel through the course, they strike tuned metal chimes, creating melodies along the way. Every marble follows a different path, making each musical experience unique. -
