Experience nature in all its fall splendor at Canadensis Garden, the home of the future Botanical Garden of Canada. The Fall Celebration offers plenty of FREE family fun including horse drawn wagon rides, children’s activities and floral/botanical artworks available for purchase. Explore the site to learn about plants and trees indigenous to Canada and admire large scale sculptural art installations. Free admission & free parking!

Highlights:

  • Canadensis Trees’ Tour & Tree Planting  (Week of September 23rd is National Forest Week. September 25th and 28th is National Tree Day)
  • Beyond the Edge Artist Garden – large scale art installations including Red Stilettos and A Stitch In Time by sculptor Gayle Hermick 
  • Art exhibit and sale featuring artists from Foyer Gallery and Art In The Neighbourhood & more!
  • Musical Ludophone Garden by artist Jesse Stewart
  • Area Horticultural Societies (Ask The Expert) 
  • Children’s Hay Bales Play Area
